Comfortable, autonomous lawn care for medium and large gardens – for this, Bosch offers the Indego M 700 robot mower for lawns up to 700 square meters. The Indego uses sensors and software to map the garden and accurately measure the lawn area. The intelligent "LogiCut" navigation system allows systematic mowing in parallel lanes based on the collected data. Indego M 700 mows up to 40 percent faster than random principle robot mowers. Thanks to "LogiCut," the mower knows which areas it has already mowed and which still need to be mowed. This saves energy and protects the lawn, as repeated driving over an area randomly can cause damage over time. Brushless motors provide more efficiency and a longer lifespan for the mower. They generate less friction and thus less heat, saving energy. The Indego M 700 is powered by an 18-volt battery from the "Power for All" battery system. This can be easily removed and replaced by the user if necessary.
Indego M 700 mows completely independently within a defined area marked with a boundary wire. By accurately measuring the size and shape of the lawn, Bosch offers the user additional value. The Indego determines the ideal mowing cycle based on the actual lawn size. The number, days, time, and duration of the mowing operations are automatically set, considering the actual lawn size, the area mowed per battery runtime, the necessary charging times, and required breaks such as midday rest or weekends. This intelligent calendar function saves the user from manual programming.
The mower also features an edge mowing function that can now be tailored to the user's needs. Before the lawn is cut, Indego M 700 mows along the outer boundary wire and follows it to the back of the base station. A special feature is that the user can choose whether to mow the edge once per full mowing operation, every two times, or not at all. This allows for saving energy and time. Bosch also relies on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Indego M 700: Bosch uses machine learning to improve obstacle detection on the lawn.
